Annual Teacher Conference

NASA Mississippi Space Grant Consortium, in partnership with the Center for Mathematics and Science Education (CMSE), hosts the Annual Teacher Conference each winter. Designed for math and science middle school teachers (grades 5-8), it provides opportunities to interact with other professionals in hands-on mathematics and science professional development sessions. This conference is facilitated by NASA Aerospace Education Specialists, MSSGC and CMSE associates, and other professionals.

Stipend and CEUs available. $25 Registration Fee (non-refundable)

Mini-Grants in STEM Enhancement

The Mississippi Space Grant Consortium (MSSGC) solicits ongoing proposals for Mini-Grants in STEM Enhancement, which seeks to enhance K-12 STEM programs through hands-on experience, experiential learning, curriculum development, educational opportunities, or other STEM-related activities. Awarded funds must not be used for purchasing equipment or providing direct support to K-12 students. Proposers can be teachers/faculty/staff of any accredited educational institution in the state of Mississippi. Partnerships that ensure long-term impact are highly encouraged.
